Last night, an all star lineup of Sacramento area chefs put on a 7 course show that would make even the most seasoned carney blush. Billed on their Facebook page as:
A high value low cost series of events, for the people and by the people of the
agriculture, food and beverage community… and also other people too
The pop-up event featured imaginative dishes from local chefs including Tyler Bond (Kru), Scott Ostrander (Esquire Grill), Joe Pruner (Esquire Grill), Ramon Perez (Puur Chocolat), Adam Pechal (Pour House), Michael Tuohy (Block Butcher Bar), Brock Macdonald (Block Butcher Bar) and Erick Avila (Kru). The chef lineup for each event changes, but the high caliber of dishes served remains a constant.
Rather than bore you with words, I want you to to take a second to imagine hip-hop pumping through the speakers at Pour House, a bevy of industry and food loving friends, and these amazing dishes (beautifully photographed by local photographer Rachel Valley) being passed around. Enjoy!
